For over 20 years, Euromoney has been recognizing the best private banking and wealth management firms across the globe through its annual Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey. The latest honors from Euromoney come on the heels of Global Finance Magazine’s declaration, for the fifth year in a row, that J.P. Morgan is the “Best Private Bank in the World.”

About the entry process for awards:

2024 Private Banking Awards. Private banks and wealth managers worldwide submitted direct written entries to showcase their client service, product development and commitment to the sector in the last 12 months. The awards recognized institutions in all categories and geographies with sufficient evidence, and the categories varied based on market activity, depth and entry quality.

Asia Private Banking Awards 2024. A benchmark survey and awards recognizing institutions that were critical to the regions wealthy individuals and families.

2024 Excellence in Banking Awards. From 25 global awards – including the world’s best bank, investment bank, and banker of the year – to ten awards per region and eight per country, Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence cover the areas of banking most important to a bank’s key stakeholders, board and executive management teams. Investment strategies are selected from both J.P. Morgan and third-party asset managers and are subject to a review process by our manager research teams. From this pool of strategies, our portfolio construction teams select those strategies we believe fit our asset allocation goals and forward looking views in order to meet the portfolio's investment objective.

As a general matter, we prefer J.P. Morgan managed strategies. We expect the proportion of J.P. Morgan managed strategies will be high (in fact, up to 100 percent) in strategies such as, for example, cash and high-quality fixed income, subject to applicable law and any account-specific considerations.

While our internally managed strategies generally align well with our forward-looking views, and we are familiar with the investment processes as well as the risk and compliance philosophy of the firm, it is important to note that J.P. Morgan receives more overall fees when internally managed strategies are included. We offer the option of choosing to exclude J.P. Morgan managed strategies (other than cash and liquidity products) in certain portfolios.
