Weiheng Chen
Weiheng Chen is a Vice President and Global Investment Strategist for J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Mr. Chen is based in Singapore with over 8 years of experience with J.P. Morgan.
Mr. Chen is responsible for developing and communicating the firm’s economic and market views and investment strategies to advisors and clients in Asia and globally. Mr. Chen focuses on macroeconomic, cross-asset and thematic strategy. Mr. Chen is a key author of Up to Speed, a daily note that delivers a rundown of political and economic events to advisors and clients; and the Asia Strategy Focus, a regular note which deep dives into Asia macro and markets.
Mr. Chen began his career with J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Hong Kong. Prior to his current role, Mr. Chen was an investment specialist in the Global Investment Opportunities group and the China team in Hong Kong. In those roles, Weiheng provided cross-asset investment advice for ultra-high net worth clients across Asia.
Mr. Chen holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
