Weiheng Chen
Weiheng Chen is a Vice President and Global Investment Strategist for J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Mr. Chen is based in Singapore with over 7 years of experience with J.P. Morgan.
Mr. Chen is responsible for developing the Private Bank’s economic and market views, as well as investment strategies, and communicating them to advisors and clients in Asia and around the world. Mr. Chen’s research is focused on macroeconomics, cross-asset investment strategy and thematic ideas for portfolios. Mr. Chen is also responsible for the Asia Private Bank’s content strategy, where he is focused on developing innovative ways to effectively deliver insights and thought leadership to regional and global audiences.
Mr. Chen began his career in 2018 in J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Hong Kong. Prior to his current role, Mr. Chen was an investment specialist in the Global Investment Opportunities group and the China team in Hong Kong. In those roles, Weiheng provided cross-asset investment advice for ultra-high net worth clients across Asia.
Mr. Chen holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
