Weiheng Chen
Global Investment Strategist
Biography
Weiheng Chen is a Vice President and Global Investment Strategist in the Singapore office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank.
Mr. Chen is responsible for developing the Private Bank’s economic and market views, as well as investment strategies, and communicating them to advisors and clients in Asia and around the world. Mr. Chen’s research is focused on macroeconomics, cross-asset investment strategy and thematic ideas for portfolios, assisting clients to make more informed asset allocation and investment decisions from both tactical and strategic perspectives. Mr. Chen is also responsible for the Asia Private Bank’s content strategy, where he is focused on developing innovative ways to effectively deliver the Private Bank’s insights and thought leadership to regional and global audiences.
Mr. Chen began his career in 2018 in J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Hong Kong. Prior to starting his role as a Global Investment Strategist in 2021, Mr. Chen was an investment specialist in the Global Investment Opportunities group and the China team in Hong Kong. In those roles, Weiheng provided cross-asset investments advice for ultra-high net worth clients across Asia.
Mr. Chen earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
