John Ancona
Head of Private Equity Fund Due Diligence
Biography
Mr. Ancona is a Managing Director on the Private Bank’s Private Equity Due Diligence team, where he is responsible for manager selection and ongoing monitoring of various private equity, credit, and real asset funds. Mr. Ancona leads the Private Bank’s global buyout investments, as well as select sector verticals like healthcare. He has been a member of the Private Equity Due Diligence team since 2009. Prior to joining the Private Bank, Mr. Ancona worked in the Financial Institutions Group at JPMorgan’s investment bank, providing advice on M&A and capital market offerings to specialty finance companies and asset managers. He received his Bachelor of Arts cum laude in History from Amherst College. Mr. Ancona serves as a director of the York College Foundation.
