This annual survey is a qualitative review of the best services in private banking, by region and by area of service. This award is voted on by industry peers.
Euromoney Private Banking Awards “Best for Sustainability”
Euromoney’s Private Banking Awards is the preeminent annual awards program of the worldwide private banking and wealth management industry. For over 20 years, the program has recognized the private banks of distinction across key categories, which today includes high to ultra-high net worth, family office services, succession planning, digital services, discretionary portfolio management, sustainability and more. From 18 global awards – including world’s best private bank, and best private bank for entrepreneurs – to multiple regional and country awards, the comprehensive program covers the business areas of private banking and wealth management that are most important to an institution’s key stakeholders, board and executive management teams.
This simply means we are looking for the banks that can best demonstrate how they have truly excelled over the award period in providing their clients with the best possible advice, service and solutions. Each award is submission-based, allowing each bank to tell the story of its achievements, innovations and performance over the 12-month award period, which runs from October to September each year.
For the “Best in Sustainability “ award, we examine the provider that has made the most impact on sustainability within the review period on a global, regional or national level. The following will be taken into consideration when deciding winners (although not exclusively): Evidence/examples of impact and success of new or enhanced sustainable products, services and strategies (traditional and digital) on the business, its clients and the wider market; Case studies of sustainable investments within the review period; Value of overall investments that meet ESG criteria; Volume of clients currently invested in ESG products; Details of internal ESG policies and frameworks; Details of client ESG training programs; and Financial performance data relevant to sustainable investments.
Global Finance's Best Private Bank in the World
Global Finance’s editorial board selects the Private Bank award winners with input from executives and industry insiders. The editors also use information from entries submitted by banks, in addition to independent research, to evaluate a series of objective and subjective factors. According to the publication, the winners are not always the biggest institutions, but rather "the best—those with qualities that individuals rate highly when choosing a provider."
