The Women's Forum is crucial at JP Morgan Private Bank because it embodies our commitment empowering women's ambitions in a young generation.

I want to tell you lives are very difficult but not give up.

Make sure what you want, you follow your own, you can reach on your summit.

Women's empowerment in the arts is particularly important to me as there isn't as much mentorship and support of younger women coming up in the arts to hopefully break that glass ceiling.

So with more women leaders in the arts, more art collectors, more museum directors, more gallerists, we will be able to nurture the next generation of women artists, curators and galleries.

Tonight we witness the fact that whether you want to conquer Mount Everest or the world of arts, you will meet grit, determination and resilience to succeed.

Queen of the Mountain: A Conversation with Lhakpa Sherpa

Raised in a Himalayan village, Lhakpa Sherpa, also known as “Mountain Queen,” broke barriers in the sport of mountaineering, climbing a record-breaking number of 10 Everest summits, the most of any woman. Her climbs hold personal significance and have greatly impacted the mountaineering world. Lhakpa shared her inspiring story, offering advice to women in non-traditional fields and discussing her future plans to empower people through adventure. Her journey is a testament to resilience and determination, inspiring others worldwide to pursue their dreams.
