Banker
Yuliya Hemerlein is a Banker in the Seattle office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Yuliya works closely with affluent individuals, multi-generational families, C-suite executives and other successful professionals to navigate the complex needs that accompany significant wealth. She serves as a trusted advisor along their financial journeys, bringing a thoughtful and experienced approach to grow their assets and preserve their legacies.
Yuliya begins by investing the time to understand each client’s unique situation and aspirations, constructing a comprehensive wealth plan that harnesses the immense breadth of J.P. Morgan’s best-in-class services—financial and estate planning, investments, lending and banking. She provides direct access to the firm’s intellectual capital and market insights to help add value across the financial spectrum.
Yuliya’s background is differentiated by her support for the needs of business owners and entrepreneurs throughout all phases of their professional lives. She is instrumental in bridging the gaps as their goals evolve to more elevated levels, tapping her strategic partnerships within the firm to provide direct access to the Commercial Bank, Investment Bank and other lines of business.
Before joining the Private Bank, Yuliya spent over a decade in branch retail banking, leading various business units while fostering an environment of collaboration and advocating for new and innovative approaches. Chief among her many strengths is a drive for excellence in everything she does.
Originally from Ukraine, Yuliya immigrated to the United States at 14, when she was fortunate to have strong role models on her side. Following her undergraduate studies, she earned a Leadership Executive M.B.A. at Seattle University, a program focused on preparing the next generations of CEOs. Yuliya gives back for all she has received, and over the years has stayed involved with various initiatives offering financial education and professional development—Operation Redline, Year Up, ADP Mentorship, Culture Council and Seattle U Mentorship programs. Yuliya was named to 425 Business’s prestigious “40 Under 40” list. Recognized as one of the outstanding young professionals serving the city’s Eastside business community, Yuliya joins a select group of entrepreneurs, philanthropists and other leaders who help to fuel Seattle’s commercial life and make an impact locally.
Yuliya and her husband have two young children and enjoy spending time with them outdoors, exploring the waterfront of the Pacific Northwest.
