Ryan Giacomarro is a Managing Director and the Head of the Mid-Atlantic Market for J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Ryan leads a team of Bankers and specialists in presenting wealth management strategies for many of the firm’s largest and most sophisticated clients. He is focused on representing J.P. Morgan throughout the state of Pennsylvania and overseeing the tremendous growth of the organization in the region.
In his senior role, Ryan is a relentless champion for each family, delivering the guidance and resources necessary to help them establish a long-lasting legacy and a future consistent with their values. His team is a conduit to the strengths of the firm—opportunistic ideas, intellectual capital, investing, banking, lending and planning strategies that address the elements of substantial wealth. He has deep roots in the area, and is well respected among stakeholders, business leaders, philanthropists and other centers of influence.
Ryan has nearly 30 years of financial experience and a strong track record of managing the challenges inherent in running a complex organization. Most recently, he was the Market Manager for the Ohio Market and the Chair of the Ohio Market Leadership Team.
Before joining J.P. Morgan, Ryan spent much of his career at UBS, where he was an influential force in the firm’s expansion and evolution. His management capabilities extend across products, sales, operations and markets, and he has held senior leadership roles in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina and Ohio.
Ryan earned a B.S. in Finance from Villanova University and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Fordham University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation. He has completed the Securities Industry Institute® at the Wharton School of Business.
Consistently involved with Villanova since he arrived as a freshman, Ryan currently serves on the university’s Provost Board. He and his wife, a special needs teacher, are passionate about causes that benefit underserved children and education. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, health and wellness, and spending time with his three daughters.
