Managing Director Head of Investments
Nana Adae is a Managing Director and Head of Investments at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. As the Head of Investments for the Chicago Team, she manages an investment practice that oversees approximately $16 billion in assets. Nana and her team of professionals provide advice and develop customized investment plans, build diversified portfolios, and identify and implement opportunistic strategies. Nana has 16 years of investment experience.
Prior to joining the Private Bank in 2009, Nana began her career as an Investment Advisor at Goldman Sachs in the Private Wealth Management Division. She later moved to the Investment Management Division at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Wealth, where she worked as a Product Specialist for the Neuberger Berman portfolio managers. In addition to her role as a Product Specialist, she also advised clients and small institutions on asset allocation and portfolio construction.
Prior to her career in finance, Nana served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy as a Cryptologic Officer leading communications specialists, linguists and signals analysts. She studied Arabic at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, and graduated with a B.S. in English and Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. After leaving the Navy, she earned an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Nana lives in Chicago and serves on the boards of The Mission Continues and the Rebuild Foundation.
