Executive Director Banker
Justin Kastan is an Executive Director and Banker in the New York City office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank. He works with some of the firm’s wealthiest private clients and their families to provide thoughtful planning and comprehensive guidance that addresses their unique situations.
In his 15 years with the firm, Justin has been entrusted with several leadership opportunities, including managing the KPMG Partner Program nationally for the past six years. He works closely with KPMG’s Partner Care Team and Independence to help partners navigate through their constraints and provide guidance and advice across all areas of their financial lives.
Justin possesses a deep knowledge of KPMG Partner’s compensation structure and retirement benefits, and has extensive experience in evaluating the firm’s retirement options and financial planning. He works across all areas of J.P. Morgan to provide partners with exclusive access to custom investment strategies, wealth planning, trust and estate services and philanthropic endeavors.
Previously honored by the J.P. Morgan Global Recognition Program, Justin has been selected over consecutive years to the firm’s Morgan Circle—which pays tribute to the top 50 advisors nationwide who are noted for their exceptional client service, performance and contributions to the team.
Before joining J.P. Morgan, Justin was a Financial Advisor in the Global Private Client Group at Merrill Lynch. Previously, he worked in the Wealth Management Division of Oppenheimer & Co., offering financial planning and innovative ideas to high-net-worth clients.
Justin graduated from the State University of New York at Albany’s School of Business with a double concentration in Management and Management Information Systems and a minor in Economics. He is currently a CFP® candidate.
A native of New York’s Westchester County, Justin and his wife have resided in Manhattan for 20 years. He is enthralled with travel, culture and the culinary arts, and has visited more than 20 countries across five continents.
