Pilar Oppedisano
Pilar Oppedisano is a Managing Director overseeing the Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota markets for J.P. Morgan Private Bank. In her senior role, she directs a team of Bankers and Investment Specialists in presenting wealth management strategies to a sophisticated client base, including individuals, family offices and foundations.
Pilar is a member of the Market Leadership Team, responsible for steering the growth agenda for the area as well as the strategic direction for hiring talent and enhancing business results. She serves as a face of J.P. Morgan in the community to help expand the firm’s presence and brand visibility.
Raised in an entrepreneurial family, Pilar deeply appreciates a client’s desire to transform hard work and vision into a meaningful legacy. Her focus is on delivering the tools and resources needed to help her clients make informed decisions that positively impact the next generation. She and her team serve as a powerful gateway to the firm’s strengths—innovative ideas, intellectual capital, investing, banking, lending and planning strategies that address the opportunities and challenges of substantial wealth.
Pilar graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in Economics. She started her career at J.P. Morgan in 2006 as part of the firm’s Corporate & Investment Bank before moving to the Private Bank as an Investment Specialist in the Dallas office. After receiving an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Pilar spent six years at General Mills in Minneapolis, managing various multimillion-dollar brands throughout her tenure. She rejoined J.P. Morgan in 2019.
Well known in the professional community, Pilar has been recognized by Twin Cities Business Magazine as one of the Top 100 People to Know and a Notable Woman in Banking and Finance. She serves on the board of the Walker Art Museum.
Pilar lives in Edina with her husband, a business owner, and their three children.
