Irena Alagic

Executive Director, Fixed Income

Irena Alagic is an Executive Director and Senior Fixed Income professional of JPMorgan Chase. In her current role, Irena seeks to serve as a resource for institutional and individual clients who rely on her to provide education, advice and strategies for any and all matters relating to liquidity management and other specialized fixed income needs.

Her responsibilities include identifying thematic investment ideas as well as advising clients on appropriate discretionary and self-directed implementation options. Irena also authors periodic publications and videos that provide timely market commentary and address key investment themes for clients.

In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Irena actively participates in firm wide initiatives around diversity and social impact, including the JPMC Service Corps program, which sends well respected employees around the world to share their knowledge with nonprofits in underserved urban areas, and serves as co-chair of the Solutions Women’s Network as part of JPMC’s Women on the Move initiative.

Irena previously spent 14 years at Morgan Stanley in a variety of roles, including Structured Credit Sales, Fixed Income Product Management and Equity Derivatives.

Irena holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Harvard University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA®”) charter holder.
