Jonathan Spira
Jonathan Spira is a Managing Director and Market Team Lead of the Financial Institutions Group at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. He directs a group of more than 30 professionals who advise senior level executives in the financial institutions sector and corporate executives of Fortune 500 companies. His team helps these successful individuals and their families achieve their goals and objectives across the entirety of their balance sheets, including customized strategies for investment management, trust & estate planning and traditional capital and liquidity.
Jonathan joined J.P. Morgan in 2001. Before embarking on his leadership path, he was a Senior Private Banker, delivering comprehensive wealth management strategies for clients and their families. This experienced forged Jonathan’s deep understanding of the unique and sophisticated challenges faced by financial principals, industry leaders and affluent families. He serves as an advocate to guide his team in presenting best practices and strategies around single stock positions, employment and severance packages, pre-IPO planning and capital market solutions.
A graduate of Emory University, Jonathan earned a B.B.A. in Finance & Information Technology. He holds Series 7, 9, 10 and 63 securities licenses. Jonathan plays an influential role in the community, serving on the board of the Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment at Mt. Sinai in New York.
