Wayne Bowers

Head of Institutional Investment Solutions Asia

Wayne Bowers is the Head of Institutional Investment Solutions, Asia, where he provides portfolio management and investment advice for endowments, foundations, and families across the region. With over 35 years of experience, Wayne has led global asset management strategies, advised high-net-worth clients, and pioneered innovative investment strategies across diverse markets and sectors.

Prior to joining JP Morgan, Wayne held various roles at Alpha Bagel Corporation, Northern Trust Global Investments Ltd, ABN AMRO Bank NV, and Hambros Bank Ltd. Most recently, he served as CEO and Founder of Alpha Bagel Corporation, advising UHNW Family Offices on manager selection and direct investment acquisition strategies, and serving on advisory boards for UN agencies and technology-focused enterprises.

Prior to his role at Alpha Bagel, Wayne was the CEO and CIO of Northern Trust Global Investments Ltd, where he led the global asset management strategy, managing business and investment teams across the USA, EMEA, and APAC, and achieving significant growth in sophisticated client relationships, investment innovation and assets under management. Before assuming his CEO and CIO roles at Northern Trust, Wayne was the Director of Fixed Income, where he built and led teams to enhance global fixed income solutions, doubling assets under management during his tenure.
