Fay Chong

Executive Director, Asia Head of Deposits and Custody

Fay Chong is an Executive Director and Asia Head of Deposits and Custody in the Singapore office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank.

She is responsible for managing deposits and custody business advisory services for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices and multi-family offices.

Fay started her career at HSBC Singapore, where she was a Client Service Manager in the Transaction Banking division, providing advisory to large corporate and SME clientele on cash management and liquidity management, including international payments and FX management solutions.

Subsequently, Fay joined the Corporate and Institutional Client division of UBS as a Product Sales Advisor, managing the financial institution’s client relationships in APAC and providing advisory on cash clearing, third-party CLS clearing and custody services. Six years later, Fay moved to UBS Private Bank, where she was a Product Sales Advisor at UBS SG and HK. She managed ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices and multi-family offices, and provided advisory on how to leverage the Private Bank platform to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and to mitigate operation risk for ongoing lifecycle management for wealth and investment planning, including online trade execution and post-trade services. She helped to enhance clients’ portfolio returns via securities lending, and to lessen their investment risks via consolidated performance analytic reporting. She also assisted clients in setting up private investment funds.

Fay holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Bowling Green State University. She enjoys traveling to explore local cultures and foods.
