
Andrew P. VanWazer, CFA®
Andrew VanWazer serves as the Head of the Portfolio Advisory Group at JPMorgan U.S. Wealth Management. In this role, Andrew leads a dedicated team that provides actionable portfolio insights and advice to clients across Chase Wealth Management and J.P. Morgan Advisors. Andrew and his team work directly with financial advisors to help build strong and personalized investment portfolios that reflect individual client needs. He regularly hosts events and writes articles to share JPMorgan's market perspectives, ensuring clients have the information they need to make confident financial decisions.
Prior to his current role, Andrew was an Investment Specialist in the J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Chicago where he advised ultra-high net worth clients on their long-term investment portfolios. Previously, he held a role as a Banker Analyst where he helped support a $3B book of business.
Outside of his day job, Andrew runs a Solutions University training program, where he leads discussion on fundamental investment concepts with a selected group of Analysts and Associates within the Wealth Management organization. He also co-founded the Black Analyst and Associate Forum, an organization across JPM Asset & Wealth Management designed to help Analysts progress in their careers by connecting them directly with senior thought leaders.
Andrew has FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses and is also a CFA charterholder. He holds a B.A. in Economics from The University of Chicago where he was a subpar student-athlete (baseball). With his lackluster athletic career long in the past, Andrew now enjoys golf and road-tripping in his free time. Originally from Arlington Heights, IL, Andrew currently resides in Jersey City, NJ.
