Josh Navarro is a Managing Director for J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Miami, Florida. He leads the investment practice for ultra-high-net-worth clients throughout Florida. Josh and his team of professionals is responsible for approximately $7 billion in assets under management and $16 billion in assets under supervision. The team provides advice on portfolio construction, asset allocation, manager selection and opportunistic trading across both public and private markets. Josh has 15 years of investment experience at J.P. Morgan.
Prior to his current role, Josh spent six years as a senior investor in the Global Investment Opportunities Group in New York. There, he was responsible for providing custom investment advice to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices and hedge fund clients. He has expertise utilizing cash, derivative, and structured products across a variety of asset classes to achieve clients’ goals. From 2007–2009, he was a member the Foreign Exchange Sales and Trading Desk within J.P. Morgan Investment Bank, where he focused on currency and hedging strategies for institutional clients. He joined J.P. Morgan in 2003 on the Foreign Exchange and Commodities Trading Desk within the Private Bank, where his primary focus was idea generation and trade execution.
Josh earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from Boston College after graduating from Pine Crest School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He serves on the board of Breakthrough Miami, a non-profit, tuition-free academic enrichment program that provides motivated middle-school students from underserved communities with the tools they need to achieve their most ambitious goals in life.
