Josh Navarro
Joshua Navarro is a Managing Director for the J.P. Morgan Private Bank based in Miami, Florida. He leads the investment practice for ultra high net worth clients throughout the Southeast Region. The Southeast Region includes our Miami, Naples, Tampa, Orlando, Sarasota, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Charlotte, Jacksonville and Nashville offices. Mr. Navarro's team of professionals are responsible for approximately $34 bn in assets under management and $87 bn in assets under supervision. The team provides advice on portfolio construction, asset allocation, manager selection and opportunistic trading across both public and private markets. Mr. Navarro has 19 years of investment experience at J.P. Morgan.
Mr. Navarro plays an influential part in driving business impact and building J.P. Morgan’s visibility in the area. He is a member of the U.S. Private Bank Operating Committee and the Executive Sponsor for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Diverse Wealth Initiatives across the U.S. Private Bank.
Previously, Mr. Navarro spent six years as a senior investor in the Global Investments Opportunities Group in New York. There, he was responsible for providing custom investment advice for ultra high net worth individuals, family offices and hedge fund clients. Mr. Navarro has experience utilizing cash, derivatives and structured products across a variety of assets classes to achieve clients' goals. From 2007-2009 he was a member of the Foreign Exchange Sales & Trading Desk within J.P. Morgan Investment Bank, where he focused on currency and hedging strategies for institutional clients. Mr. Navarro joined J.P. Morgan in 2003 on the Foreign Exchange and Commodities Trading Desk within the Private Bank, where his primary focus was idea generation and trade execution.
Mr. Navarro earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from Boston College after graduating from Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He serves on the Board of Breakthrough Miami, a non-profit, tuition-free academic enrichment program that provides motivated middle-school students from underserved communities with the tools they need to achieve their most ambitious goals in life. Mr. Navarro lives in Coconut Grove with his wife and two daughters.
