How to transfer money
Set up one-time or repeating transfers between your accounts – even to and from your external banking accounts – with J.P. Morgan Online℠ and the J.P Morgan Mobile® App.¹
Here’s how to get started:
- Sign in to JPMorganOnline.com
- Select "Pay & transfer"
- Select “Transfer money”
- Read and agree to the terms and conditions, if prompted
- Optional: To transfer to an external account - select “External accounts” then “Link external account” and follow prompts to add an external account if desired
- Choose the accounts you want to transfer from and to
- Enter the amount
- Optional: Select the toggle next to “Set up repeating transfers” if you’d like to schedule repeating transfers
- If selected, fill in the frequency, send on date, duration, and “First transfer date”
- Select “Next”, review your details, and confirm
- Sign in to the J.P. Morgan Mobile app
- Tap "Pay & transfer"
- Tap "Transfer"
- If displayed, select between “Account transfers” or “Brokerage transfers”
- Select “Brokerage transfers” for transfers related to investment accounts and “Account transfers” for other transfer types
- If displayed, select between “Account transfers” or “Brokerage transfers”
- Enter the amount
- Choose the accounts you want to transfer from and to
- Optional: For external transfers - under “Transfer from” select “Add an external account” and follow prompts
- Optional: Select the toggle next to “Repeat transfer” to set up repeating transfers
- If selected, fill in the frequency, transfer on date, duration, and “Next transfer” date (the date of the first transfer)
- Enter the transfer date, and add an optional memo if desired
- Tap "Transfer", review your details, and confirm
