Tim Reid
Tim Reid is the Head of Investments & Advice for the New York Morgan team at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, dedicated to providing holistic financial advice to wealthy individuals, families, foundations and endowments. In 2024 and 2025, Tim was awarded the Morgan Circle distinction, given to the top 5% of Private Bank advisors nationally.
Tim joined J.P. Morgan in 2012. Previously, he was an officer in the High Grade Debt Capital Markets group at Wells Fargo Securities, advising financial institutions on bond, hybrid and preferred stock capital raises.
Tim holds an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, where he was elected president of the Darden Finance Club and received a Faculty Award for Academic Excellence upon graduation in 2012. He received his A.B. in History from Harvard College in 2005, where he was a member of the varsity lacrosse team for four years.
Tim is a founding member and current co-chair of the U.S. Private Bank’s Mental Health & Wellness Council, whose mission is to educate and support colleagues across the firm. He is a member of the New Hire Investments Faculty, assisting the Private Bank’s Learning & Development team with training advisors who have recently joined the firm. He also serves on the St. Paul’s School (Baltimore, Maryland) New York City Advisory Committee.
Tim lives in Darien, Connecticut with his wife, two children and golden retriever.
