
Stephen Jury
Global Commodity Strategist
Stephen Jury is a Vice Chairman of J.P. Morgan Private Bank, a Global Investment Strategist and the Global Commodity Strategist. Based in New York, Stephen is part of a team that delivers a comprehensive vision of the firm’s macro, market and investment views to clients. Stephen is responsible for coordinating and providing advice to clients on these global themes, and also specializes in Energy, Precious Metals, Base Metals and Agriculture. He works closely with J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Chase Wealth Management and J.P. Morgan Securities.
Prior to his current role, Stephen spent five years as a Global Portfolio Specialist with the firm’s CIO team and prior to that role, five years as the Global Head of Fixed Income, Currency and Commodity Specialists. Stephen has over 35 years of experience in the currencies and commodities markets. Prior to JPMorgan, Stephen was the chief FX dealer at Chemical Bank and global head of FX trading at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. More recently, Stephen was Chief Investment Officer at Greenwich, Connecticut-based Tradex Capital Markets. Prior to that, he was senior vice president in foreign exchange sales at HSBC Bank in New York, and deputy head of foreign exchange at UBS, also in New York.
Stephen currently holds Series 7, 63, 9, 10 and 23 securities licenses. He enjoys dual nationality both in Britain and the United States and currently lives in New York with his family.
