Sergio Pawlak
Head of Institutional Access Funds for J.P.Morgan Private Bank
Sergio Pawlak is an Alternative Investments Specialist within the J.P. Morgan Private Bank, a global team that oversees over $175 billion in alternative investment assets across hedge funds, private equity and real estate funds on behalf of the J.P. Morgan clients all over the world. Mr. Pawlak started his career with J.P. Morgan Investment Bank’s Credit Hybrids and Exotics desk in London in 2007. He then joined the Private Bank in Geneva and moved to the Alternative Investments Group covering clients in Europe and Middle East. In 2012 he moved to New York to work directly for the Chairman of the Market and Investments Strategy for the J.P. Morgan Assets Management helping in development of strategic market and investment insights across the firm’s Institutional, Funds and Private Banking businesses. Since 2014 he has been working in New York and London as a senior member of the Alternative Investments Group and in 2020 he took on a role as the Head of Alternative Investments for Latin America. In 2024 Mr. Pawlak transitioned to become the Head of the institutional Access Funds, a group that focuses on providing our most sophisticated clients and family offices with access to smaller, harder to execute, niche opportunities and earlier stage funds.
Mr. Pawlak holds a master’s degree in management from the ESCP Europe in Paris and a master’s degree in economics from the City University in London.
