Sean Hogan
Sean Hogan is a Managing Director and Head of the Financial Institutions Group at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. In his role as Market Manager, Sean leads a team of more than 200 professionals who advise some of Wall Street’s foremost leaders, money managers and dealmakers on all aspects of wealth management. He and his team oversee more than $120 billion in assets, advising and assisting clients on public and private investments, fixed income management, custody, credit and liquidity needs and sophisticated estate and charitable planning.
Sean joined J.P. Morgan in 2011 and was based in the San Francisco and Palo Alto offices for five years before moving to New York City. Prior to his current role, he served as Head of the Lending Practice within the Financial Institutions Group where he led a team of credit specialists dedicated to providing tailored lending solutions. His primary focus was analyzing complex balance sheets and cash flows to structure secured and unsecured financing arrangements for hedge fund managers, financial principals, public company executives and private company owners.
Sean received his M.B.A. from Columbia University and his B.S. from Colorado State University. He holds his FINRA
Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 securities licenses.
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Sean now resides in New York City with his wife, Lindsay and son, Brooks. In his spare time, Sean is passionate about supporting higher education in low-income communities and has been actively involved with the nonprofit organization Summer Search since 2012.
