Pete Federer is Head of Investments & Advice for the Financial Institutions Group at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in New York. He leads a team of investment specialists and advisors who provide tailored guidance to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, endowments and foundations. His team advises clients across the balance sheet, with a focus on asset allocation, tactical investment opportunities, and management of multi-asset class discretionary portfolios spanning both public and private markets.
Since joining J.P. Morgan’s Financial Institutions Group in 2010, Pete has worked with a wide range of clients, including hedge fund principals, Wall Street and fintech executives, venture capital partners, and entrepreneurs. Over his 15-year tenure at the firm, he has gained extensive experience helping clients navigate complex wealth considerations, from managing concentrated positions and restricted stock to structuring effective hedging and monetization strategies.
Pete has been named three times to the Morgan Circle, a select group of Private Bank advisors recognized for delivering exceptional outcomes for their clients.
Pete received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Villanova University in 2006. He lives in Rumson, New Jersey, with his wife and four children.
