
In his senior leadership role, he heads a group of Bankers who work with wealth creators, C-suite executives, business owners and multi-generational families in developing personalized wealth planning strategies across their balance sheets that target their aspirations and goals.
Josh believes strongly in mentorship and collaboration, empowering each Banker to leverage the high-end services and strategies that differentiate J.P. Morgan through investing, lending, banking and sophisticated planning. In addition, he engages with business leaders, strategic partners and key stakeholders to help make a greater impact on the community.
In his multi-faceted position, Josh continues to cover a select group of clients, and finds personal fulfillment in assisting them in their pursuit of successful outcomes. His focus is on providing trusted guidance to comprehensively integrate the many elements of their financial lives.
Josh has always been drawn to private banking, and has spent his entire career serving individuals and families in this capacity. He has dedicated a significant portion of the past 25 years to helping clients navigate transaction events, complex executive compensation structures and concentrated stock positions. Before joining J.P. Morgan as a Senior Banker in 2018, he spent several years at both Deutsche Bank and HSBC Bank.
Originally from the Midwest, Josh earned a B.S. in Finance, Insurance and Risk Management from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. He has a passion for diversity and inclusion, and launched the firm’s LGBTQ+ Wealth Initiative, growing it to be a source of thought leadership and curated events for this vital client community.
Josh spends his free time traveling with his family, hosting friends at his home, and participating in his children’s school and neighborhood activities, including the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts and the Sleepy Hollow Swim and Tennis Club. He is engaged with local arts and charitable organizations, and currently sits on the board of the San Francisco Aids Foundation.
