Joey W. Jarvis is a Managing Director and the Head of Investments & Advice for the Greater Florida market. He oversees a team of specialists who deliver the firm’s comprehensive suite of capabilities to the largest and most complex clients across portfolio construction, asset allocation, and opportunistic capital markets solutions in both public and private markets. Joey also sits on the Private Bank’s Family Office Forum, which focuses on developing and curating resources to best serve family offices across the country.
Joey is a trusted advisor who enjoys crafting strategies that help families navigate the complexities of generational wealth and achieve meaningful, long-term objectives. In his leadership role, he empowers and develops his team by connecting them to the firm’s intellectual capital and resources, while also serving as a sounding board on bespoke investment recommendations, including private deals and other specialized opportunities.
With over fifteen years of experience, Joey joined J.P. Morgan in 2010 as an Investment Analyst in Palm Beach, Florida. Most recently, he was an Investment Specialist in the Tampa office. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, he worked with a private wealth management group at Merrill Lynch in Tallahassee, Florida.
Joey graduated from the Florida State University College of Business with a BS in finance and marketing. He currently holds FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as the Florida 2-15 life and health insurance license.
Joey has been a resident of Tampa since 2014. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, spearfishing, and attending Tampa Bay Lightning games with his wife, Jenna, and their son, Jack.
