Jeffrey Hood is an Executive Director and Team Lead in the Denver office at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Jeff leads a team of talented bankers who deliver personalized, strategic wealth management strategies to highly successful individuals and their families. He serves as a conduit to the firm’s robust capabilities—intellectual capital, fortress balance sheet, and global reach—aligning them with each client’s specific needs and interests.
Jeff draws on deep experience across banking, lending, and investing to serve as a seasoned resource for both clients and colleagues. Thoughtful in his approach, he delivers innovative, yet well-constructed strategies designed to help grow and protect assets. Trustworthy, reliable, and highly responsive, Jeff quickly builds rapport and helps clients address their concerns. In his leadership role, he is instrumental in expanding the firm’s presence alongside the region’s growing enterprises.
Over nearly two decades in New York and Denver, Jeff developed deep knowledge in public and private market investment strategies, as well as a broad range of credit solutions. He most recently served as a Banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, providing advice to high-net-worth individuals and multigenerational families. Previously, he was a Director at 361 Capital, an alternative asset management firm, where he managed client relationships and drove business development initiatives. Earlier in his career, Jeff served as a Director at Janus Henderson Investors. Focused on providing clients with the highest level of expertise, he pairs his distinctive skill set with the breadth of products and services for which the firm is known.
Jeff earned a B.A. in Economics and Environmental Policy from the College of William and Mary. Committed to giving back, he serves on the board of The Stanley British Primary School in Denver.
A Brooklyn native who moved to the Rockies for skiing and fly fishing, Jeff has called Denver home for more than a decade. He and his wife, Kristin, have a young son and daughter. An outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys spending time with his family.
