Jack Howell
Jack Howell is a Executive Director and Team Lead at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in the St. Louis office. In his senior role, Jack manages a group of Bankers who offer personalized advice across the balance sheet for prominent individuals and families in Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska. A native of the area, he is a powerful advocate for clients, delivering the intellectual strength and global resources of one of the world’s premier financial institutions at a local and bespoke level.
Jack draws from his background as a successful Banker to support his team in serving clients at all stages of wealth and across multiple generations. His strength lies in his ability to foster an outsourced family office model that considers banking, lending, investing and estate planning. As a member of the Midwest leadership team, Jack engages with business owners, strategic partners and key stakeholders to expand the firm’s impact in the region. He is a source of seasoned guidance for complex scenarios, and brings all capabilities to bear in connecting clients with the Commercial Bank, Investment Bank and other lines of business.
Throughout his nearly decade-long career at J.P. Morgan, Jack has gained a reputation for being hard-working and team-oriented, with a talent for building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Most recently, he was a Banker in Chicago before returning to his hometown to play a leadership role against the familiar backdrop of St. Louis and beyond.
Jack graduated from Brown University, where he studied Business, Economics and Organizations, and was a wide receiver on the school’s Division I football team. He received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and serves as President of Kellogg’s Athlete Club. He is a proud alumnus of Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School (MICDS).
Active in the professional community, Jack runs Brown’s Alumni Association efforts within the Midwest, serves on the Associate Board of the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Foundation, and is a mentor for the Western Golf Association through the Evans Scholarship Foundation. He enjoys golfing, fishing and racquet sports.
