Eric Finch
Team Lead
Eric Finch is an Executive Director and Team Lead in the Orange County office at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Eric leads a talented team of bankers who craft personalized, balance-sheet strategies aligned to the goals of highly successful individuals and multigenerational families in Orange County and across Southern California. In this leadership role, he plays an influential part in expanding J.P. Morgan’s presence, impact, and growth in the community. Eric fosters a culture of empowerment, equipping his team with the tools and resources needed to help clients pursue what matters most—tax mitigation, liquidity planning, lifestyle needs, charitable giving, wealth transfer, and more.
Eric views his role as a steward to both clients and advisors. Drawing on his background as a Banker, he promotes a disciplined process for navigating the opportunities and challenges that come with complex balance sheets. He is known for motivating team members and serving as a trusted sounding board—helping ensure each client’s plans and legacy unfold as intended.
Eric joined J.P. Morgan Private Bank in 2017 as a Banker in Orange County. Previously, he was a Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs in Los Angeles, where he advised high-net-worth families, pre-liquidity entrepreneurs, and foundations and endowments across all aspects of their balance sheets.
Eric received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and he holds
an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Committed to giving back, Eric serves on the Finance Committee for the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation in Orange County, CA.
A native of Orange County, Eric lives in Mission Viejo with his wife, Jaime, and their two children, Liam and Aubrey.
