Douglas Disesa
Doug DiSesa is an Executive Director and Team Lead at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Philadelphia. In his senior role, Doug leads a group of Bankers who offer personalized advice across the balance sheet for prominent families in Greater Philadelphia. In addition, he serves as an advocate to the office’s clients, and helps deliver the depth and resources of J.P. Morgan’s global presence at a local and intimate level.
Doug draws from his background as a successful Banker to foster a disciplined process so that his team may remain at the forefront of creative ideas. His strength lies in his ability to motivate people and develop the skills that help each individual reach their full potential. As a member of the Philadelphia leadership team, Doug engages with business owners, strategic partners and key stakeholders to expand the firm’s impact in the region. He is a source of seasoned guidance for complex scenarios, and is instrumental in resolving clients’ challenges and removing internal/external obstacles that stand in their way.
With a career that began in commercial real estate in New York City, Doug also worked at Treliant Risk Advisors in Washington, DC, a financial consulting firm serving clients on their enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance issues. He joined J.P. Morgan in 2015 and has been a top performer, most recently named to Morgan Circle for the past two years. He developed the talent of rising professionals in the office as the manager of the Analyst Program from 2019 to 2022.
Doug grew up on the Main Line and is a proud alum of The Haverford School and The Lawrenceville School. He earned a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University, where he captained the men’s varsity lacrosse team to the 2010 NCAA National Championship. Doug furthered his education with an M.P.A. from the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
A longtime resident of Villanova, Doug was a board member of the Merion Cricket Club and has volunteered with other organizations. He spends his free time with his wife, Stephanie, and children, Maggie and Doug. To relax, he enjoys golf and racket sports, including tennis and paddle.
