
Don Irwin
Don is a Managing Director and Banker Team Leader at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. As a trusted steward, Don spends time understanding the passions, pursuits, and professional endeavors of the families and organizations he advises. With a down to earth disposition and relentless drive, Don is an advisor who listens first, takes notes second, and circles back with guidance in a timely manner. For the past 25 years, Don has significant experience in advising business founders going through a sale transaction.
In 2023, Don was invited into Morgan Circle, a select group of the top J.P. Morgan Private Bank advisors from across the country who have been recognized for their exceptional client service and contributions. Since the inception of Morgan Circle, Don is one of ten advisors nationally who have made the list each year. He has received similar recognition outside of the firm both regionally and nationally. In 2023, Don was also accepted into the Wealth Management Hall of Fame by Washingtonian Magazine.
Don values his relationships with leading founders of Government Contracting, technology, real estate and healthcare companies as well as emerging family offices and endowments. Don is a graduate of Bryant University and received his M.B.A from New York Institute of Technology. Outside of the office Don gives back to his community as a Board member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Inova Health Foundation, Horton’s Kids and Signature Theatre. Above all he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
