
Colin Wetherill
Head of Investments and Advice
Colin Wetherill is the Head of Investments and Advice for the Mid-Atlantic region at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. In this role, he is responsible for managing investments for ultra-high-net-worth families and their foundations, as well as overseeing a team of investment professionals. Colin and his team provide advice on portfolio construction, asset allocation, manager selection and opportunistic trading across both public and private markets. He and the Mid-Atlantic group help oversee more than $25 billion in assets under supervision. Colin joined J.P. Morgan in 2003 and has over two decades of investment and relationship management experience. Prior to joining the Mid-Atlantic Team, Colin was a part of an analyst development program at J.P. Morgan, where he spent time with several Private Bank, Corporate and Investment Banking teams in Delaware, Chicago and New York.
Colin received his undergraduate degrees in Economics and History, magna cum laude, from Tufts University. He was a Melvin Frederick Ellis Award recipient for marked academic and athletic accomplishments during his time at Tufts. Colin is currently a board member of the Free Quaker Society and actively involved in the Society Hill community in Philadelphia. He and his wife, Kate, live in historic Philadelphia with their daughter and son.
