
Christopher Gribble is a Managing Director and Market Team Lead with J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Chris heads an experienced group of Bankers in providing sophisticated wealth management strategies to the most successful families, entrepreneurs and corporate executives throughout the New Jersey and New York Metro area. He draws on his deep ties to the area to play an influential part in driving J.P. Morgan’s impact and growth in the community.
Chris leads by example, both personally and professionally, delivering strategies across the balance sheet that are curated to the objectives of each individual. He intentionally strives to scale a large firm down to size, working diligently to create a boutique, customized feel across all areas—banking, investing, borrowing, planning and more. Chris has been fortunate to have had great mentors throughout his career, and is proud to pay it forward and help other Bankers build their businesses. His strength lies in fostering an environment of excellence, steering his team toward best practices so that clients may succeed.
In his multifaceted role, Chris is a Banker who advises a diverse blend of insurance executives, hedge fund managers and financial professionals. He offers a family-office-type experience as a virtual CIO to work in concert with their advisory teams.
Chris has more than 15 years of experience, during which he has built a reputation for his attention to detail and his drive to remain responsive. He joined J.P. Morgan in 2010 and spent much of that time with the Financial Institutions Group, gaining a deep understanding of the complex scenarios faced by families with institutional-scaled wealth.
A product of South Jersey, Chris graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a B.S. in Accounting. He sits on the board of the Princeton-Blairstown Center, an organization dedicated to serving young people, primarily from historically marginalized communities, by nurturing their social-emotional skills.
Chris lives in Holmdel with his wife, their daughter and their dog. To relax, they enjoy being at their home on the shore in Cape May County, taking part in beach activities.
