
Chris Deveny is a Vice Chairman of J.P. Morgan and a member of 23 Wall. Located in Chicago, he leads the partnership between the firm’s Corporate & Investment Bank and Private Bank in the Midwest. Working with the Private Bank’s largest and most sophisticated families, Chris and his team take a comprehensive approach in helping clients optimize the value of their closely held assets. He is also a member of the Midwest Operating Committee for JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Chris joined the J.P. Morgan Private Bank Chicago office in 1995 when the office was first established. He has held various leadership positions in the Midwest Region, including Central Investment Team Lead and Midwest Region Head. In the early 1990s, he worked in the Private Client divisions for Kidder Peabody and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and has worked in the financial services industry since 1984.
Currently, Chris is a board member of Ravinia Festival. He is also a member of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago and the Economic Club of Chicago. Previously, Chris was a board member of Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Chicago Food Depository, Chicago Botanic Garden and Art Institute of Chicago Business Council.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
