
BJ Goergen Maloney is a Global Head of J.P. Morgan Private Advisory, a cross-disciplinary group of over 100 global specialists who collaborate to deliver innovative and forward-thinking strategies, working closely with Private Bank Advisors to help clients make well-informed decisions and achieve their goals.
With two decades of professional experience, BJ has a diverse background that spans multi-generational family governance, public policy, senior-level advisory in Washington, DC, and philanthropy. BJ’s team addresses the sophisticated needs of ultra-high-net-worth clients, and delivers custom advice that includes tax strategies, private business transitions, family office structuring and more. Prior to her current role, BJ served as the Global Head of The Philanthropy Centre, a team within J.P. Morgan Private Advisory.
Before joining J.P. Morgan, BJ was Executive Director of The Radler Foundation, a multi-generational private foundation focused on vulnerable communities in the United States and East Africa. Previously, she served as a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of State and the White House, and led initiatives for the President of the United States on economic development.
BJ was selected as a Presidential Leadership Scholar, a prestigious program that brings together an esteemed group of leaders to address critical challenges both domestically and globally. She also serves on the boards of several nonprofits dedicated to promoting sustainable growth and development in developing countries.
BJ received a B.A. in Journalism from Baylor University and her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, graduating cum laude. She and her husband have two sons and live in New York.
