Managing Director, Fixed Income Specialist

Alexandra Lawson is a Managing Director and Fixed Income Specialist.

Ms. Lawson joined J.P. Morgan Securities as a fixed income specialist in 2024. In her role she specializes in providing fixed income managed solutions to private bank clients. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, she was a fixed income portfolio manager with First Republic Investment Management. She specialized in the design and management of fixed income portfolios for individuals, institutions, endowments, and foundations. She was a member of the firm’s Fixed Income Strategy Team and the Asset Allocation Committee. Prior to First Republic, Ms. Lawson spent nine years as a senior fixed income portfolio manager with Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Ms. Lawson has previously worked at BNYMellon, Barclays Capital, Lehman Brothers and General Electric Asset Management in a variety of fixed income roles. She also played professional basketball internationally for two years.

Ms. Lawson earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont. Ms. Lawson is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
