
Alan Lovi
Alan Lovi is a Managing Director and the Head of Investments for the Law Firm and Professional Services Group at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, based in New York. Alan leads a team of Investment Specialists to advise partners of powerful law firms, professional services firms, their families, clients and networks in navigating complex financial decisions that help build and steward wealth across generations.
Alan and his team bring a holistic approach to tailor advice on both sides of the balance sheet—investments, cash management, lending, trust and estate planning, philanthropic giving and more. At the core of their deliverables is a customized wealth plan that helps properly position each client’s portfolio to meet their long-term goals. Alan draws from his deep capital markets background to oversee all asset classes, including traditional and alternative vehicles. He sits on the New York Financial Leaders and U.S. Private Bank Leadership Teams to drive business impact and expand J.P. Morgan’s visibility.
Throughout almost two decades, Alan has built a reputation as a thoughtful listener and executor with a pulse on the markets and an eye for innovative trade ideas. He has been with J.P. Morgan since 2007 and previously worked on an institutional desk at Bear Stearns. He began as a hedge fund accountant at GlobeOp Financial Services.
Alan holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan. He serves on the board of Mosholu Montefiore Community Center, an organization offering enrichment, education and recreational programs to residents of the Bronx and Manhattan.
Alan and his wife live in Summit, New Jersey, with their two young sons. To relax, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, and spending time with friends and family.
