Matthew Marcin, CFA®

Matthew Marcin is an Executive Director and the Head of J.P. Morgan Private Bank for the Jacksonville area. Matt oversees a team of experienced bankers who provide fully integrated wealth management and investment strategies to care for the sophisticated needs of affluent clients throughout North Florida. As a senior leader of the firm, he plays an influential part in driving J.P. Morgan’s business impact and growth in the community.

Matt coaches and mentors his talented team, developing a pathway to remain at the forefront of innovative ideas. In his multifaceted role, he draws from his diverse background to present clients with recommendations steeped in best practices and tailored to personalized goals. Matt’s strength lies in his approachable style and the welcoming environment he has built for clients and colleagues alike. He serves as their go-to resource, known for his ability to solve problems, remove obstacles and turn challenges into successes.

With more than a decade of investment and finance experience at the Private Bank, Matt is highly skilled in the relationship management aspect of the business. Prior to leading the Jacksonville market, he was a Private Banker in New York City, advising some of the largest and most complex clients in the Tri-State area. In recognition of his contributions to the firm, Matt has been named a member of the Morgan Circle, a select group of Advisors within the Private Bank who have been honored for their commitment to excellence.

Matt is a graduate of Providence College, where he earned a B.S. in Finance. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment AnalystSM (CAIA®) designation, and is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Jacksonville. Interested in giving back to the local community, he is a board member and Vice Chair of the Jacksonville Symphony. Matt is also engaged as an active member of the Jacksonville Civic Council.

In addition to covering clients and leading the Private Bank team, Matt is also the Chair of J.P. Morgan Chase’s North Florida Market Leadership Team, where he helps guide the broader organization to make a larger impact in North Florida.

Residents of Ponte Vedra Beach, Matt and his wife are raising their twin daughters alongside their nearby family. Together, they enjoy setting down roots and exploring all the area offers. A former college and professional soccer player, Matt lives an active lifestyle, and enjoys cycling and playing golf.
