
Mary De Luis is a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. As the Regional Practice Lead for Lending Solutions in the Southeast, Mary works alongside her team to deliver to clients tailored advice surrounding liquidity planning, capital structure, debt financing, interest rate protection, asset monetization and more. She plays an influential part in driving J.P. Morgan’s impact and growth in the region.
Mary continues to help clients gain access to leverage, an important component in optimizing capital across the balance sheet. She takes a consultative approach to discovering personalized goals, preferences, family dynamics and estate considerations that extend far beyond lending. As a steward of her clients’ wealth, Mary taps the firm’s intellectual capital to present customized and cost-effective ideas and strategies. A genuine people person, she builds strong relationships to guide clients through financial decision making.
Previously, Mary served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Element Pointe Advisors, serving clients across the United States. Before that, she was Vice President of Global Client Finance on the Private Lending Team at Goldman Sachs. Her experience spans some of the most turbulent markets in recent history, and she has a firm grasp on the factors that necessitate debt restructuring and lending.
Born in Miami to a family from Spain, Mary was raised in Michigan and Texas. Her diverse upbringing set the stage for her to relate easily to different cultures and locales. Mary attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas and graduated with honors while earning dual degrees in Spanish and Finance. She holds an M.B.A. in International Business, Finance and Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Mary is heavily involved in fitness, and has completed a triathlon, 10 marathons and dozens of half-marathons. In her free time, she enjoys yoga and spending time at the beach with her daughter. Mary is an avid traveler, and has explored over 35 countries.
