Jeff Bailey
Jeff Bailey is an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. As the leader of the San Antonio Market, Jeff oversees a group of Bankers and Specialists who advise affluent clients and institutions in San Antonio, the Hill Country and South Texas, helping them think through their complex needs in order to make the best financial decisions for themselves and their families.
A resident of San Antonio for 40 years, Jeff has watched it evolve into a vibrant and diverse economic hub. He engages with key leaders and strategic partners, playing an influential part in broadening J.P. Morgan’s impact on the community. In his multifaced role, Jeff has collaborated with some of the most prominent families and institutions in the region, and leverages this experience to build an environment of excellence for his team. His focus is on bridging the gap between the global resources of an industry leader and the differentiated needs of his clients in Central and South Texas.
Accustomed to tackling big challenges, Jeff identifies well with business owners and entrepreneurs—he has stood in their shoes and helped build companies before returning to J.P. Morgan. He is passionate about acting as the face of the firm, connecting people and establishing a synergistic network among like-minded clients.
Jeff started his career at JPMorgan Chase in 2001 as a Credit Analyst, serving businesses across the region. He returned to the firm in 2013 after managing his startup enterprise, then advising clients at a local investment advisory firm. He has a B.S. in Agriculture Systems Management from Texas A&M University.
Jeff, his wife and their two children are happy to call San Antonio home. Like many of his clients, he loves the outdoors, and enjoys being with his family at their ranch in the Hill Country, where he works on the land, hunts and spends every minute he can get on the river. Motivated to serve his community, Jeff sits on the boards of Goodwill Industries of San Antonio and the Association of Former Yell Leaders at Texas A&M. He is also involved with the Christian student organization Young Life.
