
Jamie Lavin Buzzard is a Managing Director and Co-Head of U.S. Alternative Investments Strategy and Business Development at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, located in Dallas, Texas. In her role, Jamie is responsible for the strategic integration of alternative investments, including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real assets, and direct investments, to enhance client portfolios and articulate both core and opportunistic market perspectives. Leveraging her extensive experience, she collaborates closely with Family Offices and Institutional Investors to improve their access and drive strategic allocations within the asset class.
Previously, Jamie held the position of Head of Family Office Investments & Advice at J.P. Morgan U.S. Private Bank. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in unifying the firm's practice areas to develop a comprehensive platform that addresses clients' sophisticated wealth management needs.
With nearly two decades of investment experience, Jamie began her career with the firm in New York in 2006, advising affluent families in the Northeast. Between 2007 and 2009, she supported business and sales management for the Global Head of Investments. Jamie also served as a Senior Investment Specialist in the Global Investment Opportunities Group. In 2015, she relocated to Dallas to lead the investment practice for ultra-high-net-worth clients across Texas.
Jamie is deeply committed to organizations that empower women and children. She serves on the Board of Directors of Girls, Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas, a nonprofit organization that offers educational programming and financial literacy to inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
Originally from Westboro, Massachusetts, Jamie attended Worcester Academy and has previously served on its Board of Trustees. She graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and History.
Jamie is married and has a young daughter and son. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and actively participates in community activities.
