Executive Director Team Lead
Verdi is a Market Team Lead for the J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Northern California. He and his team work closely with investors, entrepreneurs, executives and business owners to manage concentrated risks through a nuanced understanding of ownership structure and planning considerations. They help clients on all aspects of their financial situation, which includes assets and liabilities, tax and estate planning, banking, lending and investment management. Verdi has served, at various points, on the National Associate Council, the National Advisory Council, and at Senior Leadership forums for the Private Bank, and has been recognized as one of the Private Bank’s Morgan Circle top advisors since its inception in 2018.
Before joining J.P. Morgan in early 2013, Verdi worked with the Investment Grade Credit team at Goldman Sachs in their San Francisco office. While there, he gained a deep understanding of company capital structures, capital markets, risk management and trading strategies, working with some of the largest asset managers in the world. Prior to that, Verdi was part of the Private Wealth Management group in Goldman’s New York office. As a Financial Analyst, he focused on asset allocation and portfolio diversification strategies, as well as trust and estate planning for complex personal and family balance sheets.
Verdi attended Harvard College and graduated with a degree in History, focusing on International Finance. He was two-time captain of the Varsity Squash team, still enjoys playing in interclub leagues in San Francisco, and recently served as Commissioner of the Olympic Club’s squash program. Verdi also serves as a Board Member, Treasurer, and on the DEI, Forest Health, and Executive Committees of the Tahoe Fund, which seeks to protect and preserve the beauty of Lake Tahoe for future generations. He spends much of his non-office time in the Sierra Nevada with his wife, Kelsey, his daughter, Georgia, and their dog, Linus.
