
Robert Baynard is a Vice Chairman for J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he serves as a senior banker for some of the firm’s most sophisticated clients and family offices. From 2002 to 2015, Rob was the founder and headed a group that focused on serving leaders in the investment and hedge fund industry. Prior to founding this effort in New York, Rob served as Chairman of both Chase Fleming Private Wealth Management and Fleming Private Fund Management in London for two years beginning in 2001. Preceding this role, he served as CEO of J.P. Morgan Private Bank Ltd. and also headed up J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank in London, where he led the UK and Northern European business.
Rob’s career at J.P. Morgan began in the Investment Banking division where he worked in both Debt Capital Markets and M&A. He serves as a Trustee and on the Executive Committee for The Chapin School in New York City. Rob graduated with a B.A. from Duke University.
