David Lyon
Vice Chairman
Biography
David Lyon is a Vice Chairman and is responsible for strategic asset allocation and implementation of investment solutions for clients, including tactical allocation tilts and portfolio construction. David also led the West Coast Multi-Manager Investment Advisory Group, where he was responsible for the Multi-Manager platform, as well as the ongoing client advisory services, with emphasis on alternative investment strategies.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, David headed the Institutional and Private Client consulting group within the Investment Management Services area of Sutro & Co. He was responsible for advising institutional clients and developing strategic portfolios for institutional clients of the firm. David sits on the Investment Committees of the following foundations: Hanna Boys Center, Dominican Sisters, and St. Mary’s Medical Center Foundation.
David received his B.A. from the University of Arizona and is a CFA® charterholder. In addition, he is a member of the CFA Institute and the San Francisco Analyst Society.
