Jeffrey Kaveney
Jeffrey Kaveney is a Managing Director and the Head of the Fund Banking Group at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. In his leadership role, Jeff leads a team of Bankers focused on serving the unique needs of private equity, venture capital and investment management firms.
Drawing on his nearly 20 years of experience, Jeff and his team partner with founders, fund CEOs and CFOs to provide holistic financial strategies across banking, lending and investments to aid in the growth of each fund and their investments. Whether the funds seek day-to-day cash management, deposit accounts, long-term treasury management, or capital call facilities and subscription lines of credit, the Fund Banking Group presents customized recommendations informed by the specialized resources of J.P. Morgan. It offers direct access to the entire firm by bringing in the Investment Bank and Commercial Bank to ensure every aspect of a fund’s need is met.
Jeff has spent the entirety of his career at J.P. Morgan, most recently as the U.S. Co-Head of Lending Solutions, where he led the strategic direction of the $200 billion lending practice. Previously, he was the Global Head of Banking & Custody and spent the prior 10 years in various investment roles. He began his career in 2006 in the Corporate & Investment Bank.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Jeff earned dual degrees in Finance and Accounting. He lives in New York City and is an avid skier, runner and reader.
