
Jamie Lavin Buzzard
Jamie Lavin Buzzard is a Managing Director and Head of Investments & Advice for the South Region at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, based in Dallas, Texas. Jamie leads a team of Investment Specialists who advise ultra-high-net-worth families, endowments and foundations across the South Region, providing comprehensive guidance on portfolio construction, asset allocation, and manager selection across public and private markets. The South Region includes the firm’s Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Oklahoma and Louisiana markets. Leveraging J.P. Morgan’s global resources and her extensive experience, Jamie ensures clients receive tailored solutions that address their unique and complex financial needs.
Previously, Jamie served as Head of Family Office Investments & Advice at J.P. Morgan U.S. Private Bank, where she unified the firm’s practice areas to develop a comprehensive platform for sophisticated wealth management. She led teams advising some of the largest institutional families, establishing a reputation for strategic vision and a client-centric approach.
With nearly two decades of investment experience, Jamie began her career with the firm in New York in 2006, advising affluent families in the Northeast. Between 2007 and 2009, she supported business and sales management for the Global Head of Investments. Jamie also served as a Senior Investment Specialist in the Global Investment Opportunities Group. In 2015, she relocated to Dallas to lead the investment practice for ultra-high-net-worth clients across North Texas.
Jamie is deeply committed to organizations that empower women and children. She serves on the Board of Directors of Girls, Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas, a nonprofit organization that offers educational programming and financial literacy to inspire girls to be strong, smart and bold.
Originally from Westboro, Massachusetts, Jamie attended Worcester Academy and has previously served on its Board of Trustees. She graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and History.
Jamie is married and has a young daughter and son. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and actively participates in community activities.
