About Us

Tim Howell

Managing Director, Market Manager

Tim Howell is a Managing Director and Market Manager with J.P. Morgan Private Bank. As the Head of the Pacific Northwest region, Tim leads a team of Bankers and Specialists to deliver wealth management strategies for affluent individuals and their families, business owners, corporate executives and members of the technology, life sciences and aerospace industries. His focus is on providing the resources necessary to help clients fulfill their purpose and leave a legacy for the next generation.

A former entrepreneur, Tim brings a real-world appreciation for the value of seasoned guidance to manage the rewarding challenges of significant wealth. Known for being fiercely loyal and engaging, he acts as a conduit to the strengths of J.P. Morgan, removing obstacles and navigating across the expanse of the firm. He thrives on serving clients and has built an inclusive culture that facilitates success for both team members and families.

Tim is a veteran banker and has spent over two decades with the firm in various leadership roles. His experience includes Consumer and Commercial Banking and Asset & Wealth Management. Before his current tenure, Tim held a similar position as the Market Manager and region executive for Business Banking in the Pacific Northwest. Earlier in his career, he owned and operated a restaurant venture and a food manufacturing/distribution company in Colorado Springs.

A native of New Orleans, Tim earned his B.B.A. from the University of Mississippi.

Tim is a long-time resident of Seattle and has served on the Business and Economic Development Center's board for the Foster School of Business and the King County Economic Development Council. Currently, he sits on the Board of Trustees for The Rainier Club. Tim’s real passion is youth athletics, and he volunteers his time as the Treasurer of the Skyline Youth Football Association. He is an enthusiastic coach for his son’s baseball and football teams.

Tim and his wife have been married for almost 30 years. In addition to their son, they also have a daughter, and he makes family his top priority.
