
Jamie Lavin Buzzard is a Managing Director and the Head of Family Office Investments & Advice at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. In her leadership role, Jamie champions the development of the firm’s cohesive platform to holistically address clients’ needs for sophisticated wealth management. She leads teams of professionals who advise some of the largest families, endowments and foundations in the United States across their investment and complex planning needs. She also serves on the U.S. Private Bank Operating Committee.
Jamie coordinates among the firm’s practice areas to offer the intellectual strength, products and services that have fostered J.P. Morgan’s reputation as an industry leader. She helps optimize a thought leadership engine for distributing best-in-class strategies to advisors so they may scale out the private banking experience to the needs of each and every client. She plays a significant part in expanding the Private Bank’s presence through speaking engagements and client-facing events.
With more than 15 years of investment experience, Jamie joined the firm in New York in 2006, advising wealthy families in the Northeast. From 2007 to 2009, she supported the business and sales management for the Global Head of Investments. Jamie was a Senior Investment Specialist in the Global Investment Opportunities Group. She moved to Dallas in 2015 to lead the investment practice for ultra-high-net-worth clients throughout Texas.
Jamie is passionate about organizations that help empower women and children. She serves on the Board of Directors of Girls, Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas, a nonprofit that provides educational programming and financial literacy to help develop inherent skills and inspire girls to be strong, smart and bold.
Originally from Westboro, Massachusetts, Jamie attended Worcester Academy and now sits on its Board of Trustees. She is a graduate of Boston College and earned a B.S. in Finance and History.
Jamie is married with a young daughter and son. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and engaging in community activities.
