
Managing Director, Central Texas Market Manager
Jake Masso is the Market Manager for Central Texas at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, based in Austin. In his role, Jake is responsible for the private banking business across Austin, the Hill Country, San Antonio, and South Texas. He leads a talented team of Advisors and Specialists focused on delivering a first-class private banking and wealth management experience to successful individuals, families, family offices, and nonprofits in the region.
Having grown up in a family business, Jake has a passion for connecting with entrepreneurs and business leaders to learn about their unique success stories and takes great pride in helping them achieve successful outcomes for their wealth and legacy. Jake joined the firm in 2012, and prior to his move to Austin, was a Senior Banker and Team Lead on the Dallas Private Bank team. He is deeply committed to building strong relationships with clients and has dedicated much of his career to advising Texas families on creating effective wealth plans, establishing family office and governance frameworks, and curating portfolios that align with their objectives.
A native of South Texas, Jake is an avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast. He earned his degree in Finance from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Jake is a member of the J.P. Morgan Chase cross-line of business Market Leadership Team, where he focuses on the firm’s growth and community impact across Central and South Texas. He has served on the board of Directors for Goodwill and the Children’s Cancer Fund, as well as the Advisory Board for St. Vincent de Paul. Jake and his wife, Karey, reside in West Austin with their two children.
