
Kathryn A. Katz (Katie) is a Wealth Advisor for the J.P. Morgan Private Bank Michigan and Minnesota markets. In this role, Katie assists clients with estate planning, family governance, fiduciary matters and philanthropy.
Katie was previously a partner of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP, advising ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth individuals and families on the development of comprehensive wealth planning strategies, as well as guiding clients on the formation and ongoing representation of private foundations and public charities. She also served as the Development Director for City Year Detroit, where she was responsible for the development and implementation of the site’s revenue strategy.
Katie is a current board member of City Year Detroit and Citizen Detroit, and is an advisor to several other nonprofit and community groups throughout Southeastern Michigan. She formerly served as a board member of the DIA’s Founders Junior Council.
Katie earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and her B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
