Chris Nay
Head of Investments and Advice
Christopher Nay is the Head of Investments and Advice for the Financial Leaders Group at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he provides comprehensive wealth management guidance to private clients, family offices, foundations and institutional investors. As a member of the U.S. Private Bank Operating Committee, Chris plays an important role in strategic decision making for the business.
The Financial Leaders Group includes over 50 investment professionals overseeing $122 billion in assets under management and $320 billion in assets under supervision. The team specializes in serving sophisticated clients, including private equity principals, hedge fund executives, law firm partners, asset managers, and senior executives from banking and insurance firms. Together, they deliver holistic advisory services spanning portfolio construction, strategic asset allocation, manager selection, opportunistic trading across public and private markets, and comprehensive liability management solutions.
Beginning his career at Goldman Sachs, Chris advised hedge fund clients as part of the Prime Brokerage business. He joined J.P. Morgan in 2006 as an Investment Specialist, where he spent eight years covering hedge fund founders and banking executives. In 2014, he became of Head of Investments and Advice for the Financial Institutions Group, a role he held for 11 years before taking on his current responsibilities.
Chris holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University. He is active in his community through board positions with Friends of Karen, a nonprofit supporting the families of children with life-threatening illnesses, and the Bronxville School Foundation, which works to enhance public education quality in the Bronxville community.
Chris resides in Bronxville with his wife, Katrina, and their two children.
